How we compare
Chacra helps you choose among what the shops in Germany already have: we collect their listings, tie each one to a single manufacturer article, and send you to the shop’s own site.
We sell nothing, take no payment and ship nothing. The purchase, the payment, the delivery and the return are all with the shop you choose.

A price is what the shop showed when we last read it. Half were read no longer than 20 h ago, nine in ten no longer than 3 days. Nothing here is live.
What “Verified offers only” means
This checkbox above the list keeps only the offers we have tied to a specific row of the manufacturer’s own catalogue — by article number, or by every stated spec agreeing at once. It is on by default, because comparing prices only means anything when it really is the same article.
confirmed offers in this market. Only these are compared on price, and only these set the “from” price on a product card.
offers have a candidate but not the evidence to settle it. They are shown marked “unverified” and are never counted as a price.
Switch the box off and you see those too. It is an honest way to look wider, but what you are then looking at is a list of similar things, not a price comparison.
What a confirmed offer rests on
23,832 confirmed offers, by the evidence behind them
An article number or barcode stated by the shop and by the manufacturer independently of each other. The strongest evidence there is.
A barcode already resolved on another shop’s listing. That is derived evidence, not a second independent statement: we accept it only when nothing in the listing contradicts it.
No code anywhere, but every spec in the listing’s title matches a catalogue row and none contradicts it.
The product is identified, the version is not: the title names no size, no length, no casing. Then the answer is the product, not one of its article numbers.
A person looked and decided.
What never reaches the catalogue
out of 95,748 live listings in this market
listings have no catalogue row at all — shops’ own brands, oddments, everything whose article number we do not yet know. That is a gap in our catalogue, not in the shop’s range.
have a candidate but no confirmation — the same as above.
confirmed offers are out of stock. A price you cannot buy at does not compete, so they are hidden by default; the checkbox beside the first one brings them back.
What we cannot do
This is not a compatibility check. Filtering by your bike fills in the sizes recorded for it, but whether a part actually fits is your decision, not ours.
We read pack quantities for chains and tyres only. Elsewhere a “2-pack” can be compared against a single item, and its price looks worse than it is.
The manufacturer catalogue is incomplete. If we do not hold a model, its offers will not find each other, even while the shops are selling it.
We do not invent values. If a spec is stated neither in the listing nor by the manufacturer, the card leaves it empty rather than showing a plausible guess.
If a comparison here looks wrong to you, it may well be. Write to us — the address is on the operator page — and name the product, and we will go through that one match.
